Today we celebrate one year of Silent Spring Consultants Ltd.
In early 2022, we came up with the idea to combine 30 years of knowledge and experience into a Research and Consultancy Company. After a few months, we officially started on the 27th of April 2022. One year later, Silent Spring Consultants has already built up a good reputation, not only in the academic world, where we collaborate with universities in the UK, Europe and internationally but also with international development organisations, municipalities, national governments and non-profit organisations. 2023 and 2024 promise to equally exciting and challenging. We are delighted to be leading and/or collaborating on a number of projects that aim to have a real impact on climate change adaptation and policy in the UK and Europe.
Highlights in the near future will be presenting one of our projects at the European Forum on Urban Forestry Conference in Krakow, Poland and participating in the Place-based Climate Network conference and the Royal Geographic Society (RGS-IBG) conference both in London, UK. In 2024, we will organise a Knowledge Exchange and Innovation Event in the European Capitol Brussels, Belgium. More about this later.
